WIND EXPO 2023: German ambassador visits GOI stand

March 20, 2023

Distinguished visitors at the booth of the German Offshore Wind Initiative GOI: The German Ambassador Dr. Clemens Schulz visited us at this year’s WIND EXPO in Tokyo.

WIND EXPO brings together a wide range of technologies in the wind energy industry, from wind turbines to the construction, maintenance and operation of wind farms and offshore wind technologies. As an established business platform for the latest technologies and information, the trade fair makes an important contribution to the further development of the industry. At the beginning of the year, our Japan representative Sayuri Watanabe had the great honor of meeting the German ambassador, Dr. Clemens von Goetze at our stand and took the opportunity to present the German offshore wind initiative GOI to him.

We are very pleased about the interest of the German embassy and their visit to our stand. We see this as a strong signal that the Japanese government is also interested in strengthening German-Japanese offshore wind cooperation and that politicians are supporting German companies in their cooperation and export efforts.

Our stand was organized together with the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan (AHK Japan) and the German-Japanese energy partnership adelphi .

Companies such as Liebherr Maritime Cranes, Herrenknecht AG, Energy & Meteo Systems, RWE Renewables, TÜV SÜD, SanCo, KODIAK GmbH, MENCK, Sabik Offshore and many more were there.
