About the event

Focusing the topic “Strengthening Japan’s Offshore Wind Supply Chain with German Experience” , representatives from business, politics and research will discuss how German offshore wind expertise can support the Japanese value chain in making it competitive and sustainable.

Established German offshore wind companies such as Rhenus Offshore Logistics GmbH & Co. KG , SABIK Offshore GmbH and Liebherr MCCtec Rostock GmbH will first give a “German Market Update” in keynote speeches and report on their experiences in the offshore wind industry.

The second part discusses how the offshore wind industry contributes to local and regional development from a Japanese perspective.
