Toussaint Williams

Toussaint Williams comes to the German Offshore Wind Initiative GOI with a variety of experiences in economic development, international trade, and planning in state and municipal government roles. He also brings a worldwide perspective to his work from market research-related roles in China and Kenya.

Most recently, he served a Business Associate at AdvanceCT , a public-private partnership, which serves as the State of Connecticut’s economic development arm. In this role he contributed to the development of the offshore wind industry in Connecticut through organizing and managing major industry trade shows, liaising with foreign trade organizations, and supporting the recruitment of companies to meet supply chain needs.

Toussaint holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Affairs and a minor in Economics from Gordon College, where he was a Clarendon Scholar. He was also a Chinese Government Scholar at Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU).
